Event Description
In this exciting and entertaining event, "Miss Tagesschau" Dagmar Berghoff and TV Star Chef Tim Mälzer will compete against some of the best British poetry slammers in Germany. Each contestant has to try and sweep away the audience with a recital of English poems or poetic texts. Content, style and performance are up to the contestants, they must judge their audience and try to win their favour and of course votes.
Well known actor Mark Lyndon and Talk Hamburg presenter Steve Peiris will co-host the evening.
A Capella band VOICEBUSTERS will provide some melodic entertainment.
Tickets cost € 15 per person (Students € 12), payable in advance, and can be ordered on www.amiando.com/poetryslam
Proceeds go to Charity.
