We in Hamburg organise or participate in several events each year, either for the British Community and friends of Great Britain or fund-raising for charity, or a combination of both - our main event being the annual Victorian Christmas Market which wouldn't be possible without the help from many of the British clubs as well as other volunteers. All proceeds are donated to local charities.

If you need Consular help or assistance, or are looking for advice please first look at the information on the British Embassy Berlin website

The Savoy Cinema (re)opens in Hamburg

Films in English were shown at Streits am Jungfernfernstieg until end of March 2013 when the cinema had to close.

But the good news is ....... the SAVOY on the Steindamm opens it's doors today, 20 June, and will be showing films in the original language.  The cinema has been refurbished and modernised, great sound system, very comfy seats. A must for all filmgoers who don't want to hear their favourite movie stars speaking in German
