Arsenic and Old Lace by Joseph Kesselring (directed by Martin Leafe)

Theatre critic Mortimer Brewster plans to get engaged to his sweetheart Elaine. But he discovers his two

charming elderly aunts have taken up a gruesome hobby: they “charitably” murder lonely old men by giving

them elderberry wine laced with arsenic! Meanwhile, his dotty brother Teddy, who thinks he is Theodore

Roosevelt, is digging the Panama Canal in the basement – a handy place to bury the bodies. Matters are

Much Ado About Nothing - a great success!

Much Ado About Nothing, by William Shakespeare, directed by Carol McNamara, was a great delight and proved that a Shakespeare comedy isn't the hard fare that people imagine if it is approached in the light-hearted vein in which it was written. Wit, wickedness, song, dance and a happy end - what more could you want!

Tickets are selling extremely well and are hard to come by in the second week. One of our greatest successes, it seems! Who would have thought that having 36 people on stage in a production could run so smoothly. Many thanks to our director Rebecca Garron, assistant Julia Weitschat and our wonderful musical director Florian Miro, not to mention all the… Continue

Opel Dello carpark no longer available for theatre patrons!

Our flyers have all gone out already, but the news is that patrons of Theater an der Marschnerstraße are no longer able to use the Dello car park - it has been sold and will be redeveloped! So when you come to see our November production A Christmas Carol, bear that in mind. It might be best to come by train - U-Bahn Hamburger Strasse.
See you there!
