Merry Christmas everyone! I survived the surgery and just when I got home from the hospital I got laid low with a really bad lung infection and Pneumonia. Of course I was not able to come back to the store when I had planned. Today is my first day back and I´m feeling better, not quite 100% yet but getting there....cough cough cough. Its just amazing to me how much sickness I´ve had this year, not to mention the last few months. Every germ in Hamburg has decided to come live with me. Listen up GERMS, I am giving notice that come the New Year you are being evicted from your warm cozy home...i.e, my body. LOL Anyway, it feesl great being back in store. When I put my key in the door this morning, it felt like coming home.
Ive been feeling a little homesick. Don´t get me wrong, not missing a specific place, but I am missing my oldest son and my granddaughter something fierce! To those of you out there who live far away from your kids and loved ones, you know what I´m talking about. This doesn't feel like Christmas for me because one of the most important people in my life is not here...my son EJ. I love him with all my heart and soul...I miss his quirky smile, his laugh, his sense of humor and his positive nature. No matter how low I may be feeling, he is the only person that can make me feel on top of the world...even if just for a little while. I miss you darlin! Have a Merry Christmas and I will see you next year for my 50th birthday....Mallorca, here we come!
