Britain in Hamburg

Fox hunting originated in the United Kingdom in the 16th century, but is practised all over the world, including Australia, Canada, France, Ireland, Italy, Russia, and the United States. A fox, traditionally a red fox, is tracked by trained foxhounds and a group of hunters on horseback.
Today no foxes are harmed during a hunt but an odoriferous substance is is used as a track for the hounds.
